2003 brings promises of a new U.S. tour and talk of a European tour as planning stages begin for a list of cities and even countries that Goldenboy will be visiting. The band is starting the year off with a show in their local "Los Angeles" at the Knitting Factory on January 4th with special guests Idaho Falls. On January 10th Goldenboy will be performing live on the world famous KCRW radio show "Morning Becomes Eclectic" w/ host Nic Harcourt. You can listen live to the performance as well as an interview on the web at www.KCRW.org or to KCRW in the southern California area and offiliate stations around the country on the FM dial.

The boys made it home safely with all limbs intact and minds still functioning. They never broke down on the road and the shows went on. They are glad to be home and sleeping in their own beds. Is it time to just sit back with some hot cocoa and enjoy the holidays? No way! Not this time. They have been summoned back onto the road for a couple of weeks in December as support for groups like "LUNA" and "the POSIES" (others to be announced) for a west coast jaunt. I guess 2 months out just wasn't enough.Soon there will be some sort of band tour diary posted of the US tour which many of you witnessed first hand.

With the record just beginning to hit the stores, the band has kicked off their national tour with a live performance at Cafe Largo in Los Angeles on September 12. The tour will take them to many parts of the country with over 40 stops along the way. (check the show page for more details, new dates added all the time)

Blue Swan Orchestra entered the CMJ top 200 as the number 5 debut for the week of 8-21. Specialty/commercial DJ's around the country are spinning the record and over 70 stations added it to their full rotation. Amazingly, about half the songs are being played so one can only guess which track you may hear in your home town.

Goldenboy's long awaited debut will be released in stores in the US this September. A tour of the states will coincide with the release in late september through November and will take the band to 40 stops along the way. We will post dates (in the show page) and more info in the near future.

Goldenboy will be appearing on the PBS national tv show, "Sound Affects" presented by KOCE on june 29. The show was pre-recorded and contains live performances from the band and a brief interview. Check listings for broadcast times in your area.

Shon will be performing with Neil Finn, Monday, March 11 on the "late late show with Craig Kilborn". Be sure to catch this performance as well as Shon's appearance at Cafe Largo in Los Angeles for the 'Neil Finn and friends' show that same night. The following evening Goldenboy will be performing with Neil at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. (Apparently this show is already sold out, but don't miss the show at the Dragonfly in Hollywood on march 17 for a St. Patricks Day celebration with the entire Goldenboy family.
